Marcos Siqueira went to the cornerflag to take it. 17 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Siekkötter came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lei Feng Yan to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Lei Feng Yan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Feng Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Augusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esen Sanal. That made the score 1-2 after 39 minutes of play. After the first half S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amauri Félix made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lei Feng Yan sent off a good shot on target. After 62nd play minutes Jens-Ove Malm shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Esen Sanal and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80th minute, Tolgahan Onatkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esen Sanal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Lenílson Gomes replaced Tolgahan Onatkan. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amauri Félix in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Lei Feng Yan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Amauri Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
