An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 18th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Andreola. CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edoardo Rinaldi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Simon Gerbault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Alberto Andreola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任棋振 in the 82nd minute of play. Alberto Andreola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. With a little luck, Valdieri's Alberto Andreola got control of the ball when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis tried to sneak it across the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
