The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Grant McPhedron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Olgierd Kowalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Kowalski came free, but Richárd Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahovic came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Voja Spajić in the 17th minute of play. Olgierd Kowalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richárd Textex read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. BYDGOSTIA were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patryk Zgonina took the corner. BYDGOSTIA's Patryk Zgonina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richárd Textex in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, Olgierd Kowalski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Richárd Textex, 1-0. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Grant McPhedron with Voja Spajić as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zbyszko Leper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Zhan Qiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Nicklas Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Gu Zhan Qiang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Leper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th minute Dušan Vlahovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgierd Kowalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Voja Spajić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Leper having to interfere. Zbyszko Leper made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dušan Vlahovic sent off a good shot on target. Zbyszko Leper was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Voja Spajić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Voja Spajić really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Richárd Textex didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Kowalski went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dušan Vlahovic got free with Zbyszko Leper in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Leper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dušan Vlahovic. Olgierd Kowalski took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richárd Textex. Richárd Textex dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Murat Jerković was substituted for Cipriano Galnares. Dušan Vlahovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zbyszko Leper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BYDGOSTIA's Yu Ran Fan was substituted for Emil Piesciuk. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Piotr Gorzkiewicz. In the 85th minute, Murat Jerković made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Leper. BYDGOSTIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dušan Vlahovic got free with Zbyszko Leper in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
