If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Leper saved BYDGOSTIA from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Kowalski came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Anastasios Pallini replaced Joel Gaxan. BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 30th minute of play. Olgierd Kowalski might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilhelm Galle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olgierd Kowalski ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Emil Piesciuk made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kind of Blue's Joacim Hansson. In the 48th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Leper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Käller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BYDGOSTIA's zone, Sebastian Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Leper came out of the goal and Sebastian Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 86th minute of the match. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper. Zbyszko Leper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zbyszko Leper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Kind of Blue left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BYDGOSTIA.
