Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rune Gustafsson started the match with the kick off. Petr Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 4th minute of play. Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Åke Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Gol in the 10th minute of the match. The throw-in from Wlodzimierz Kochanowski in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hemse RK's Gabriel Hedlund. In the 24th minute of the match Timo Lanng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Čech skillfully saved the ball. Thiago Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes Hemse RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Hekman who took care of the corner kick. Per-Olof Stenqvist thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sven-Åke Kjellbom, a very annoying self made goal in the 28th minute which led to 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 30th minute of play forced Hemse RK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Kjellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Picado charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Picado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Thiago Gol made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Hemse RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Co Scholten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Gustafsson in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half SCs StarS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Gol made a kick off. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thiago Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Thiago Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Rune Gustafsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Hemse RK's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Hekman came free, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Jordy Dirks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Gol got free with Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jordy Dirks in the 83rd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Jordy Dirks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Åke Kjellbom, 1-3. Sven-Åke Kjellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordy Dirks went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jordy Dirks sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes Hemse RK got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Hägert. 96 minutes into the game, Thiago Gol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Thiago Gol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
