Chancy Olympique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Di Gregorio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chancy Olympique's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesare Maestri was slow to take the kick. During this time Supremacy Catania FC's players had a chance to rest. Supremacy Catania FC played a much better game than Chancy Olympique and deserved their victory. The Chancy Olympique players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
