The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito defense, Ferenc Sipos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Boruc. The Joga Bonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Boruc should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Luo Wei Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gergely Seres was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Pető in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Joga Bonito's Gergely Seres threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejo Eleazar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferenc Sipos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Artur Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Eleazar in the 72nd minute of play forced Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Luo Wei Xi sped through Veresi Új Generáció's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gergely Seres. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joga Bonito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Veresi Új Generáció had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
