After some careless play in the Amboy FC defense, Alexandros Peropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. The Amboy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Mourelatos should have stopped the shot. Barrialito AFC's Conrado Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alexandros Peropoulos sped through Amboy FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Felix Frasco to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Felix Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandros Peropoulos scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Mourelatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amboy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrialito AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Barrialito AFC's corner Jaime Eleazar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Mourelatos quite easily take care of the ball. Barrialito AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Eleazar in the 43rd minute. The corner led to Barrialito AFC's Conrado Txordon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Peropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Barrialito AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Peropoulos was the one to do the kick off. Felix Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 54th minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Felix Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Wang Feng got a free kick in the 55th minute. Felix Frasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrialito AFC's Felix Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 57th minute of play. Atilano Mantzio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Felix Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 61st minute of play. Amboy FC made a substitution. The throw-in from Han Bin Yi in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Amboy FC's Mario Alberto Abascal. 71 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Mourelatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Amboy FC's goalie and right to Natalio Bieito. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Amboy FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Roberto Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Frasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Barrialito AFC's Felix Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Rodriguez in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandros Peropoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Mourelatos came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandros Peropoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. Barrialito AFC made a substitution. Aquiles Beat replaced Alexandros Peropoulos. In the 94th minute of the match Barrialito AFC got a corner. Amboy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Eleazar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fahhad Al Herz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-5. 94 minutes into the match. The Barrialito AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrialito AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
