Franky Dhondt started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Garcia Morros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garcia Morros's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Julio Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Morros in the 14th minute of play. Franky Dhondt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bernardo Raggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Juliusz Gdowik got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Judas Verón in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Morros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garcia Morros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Falcioni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franky Dhondt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute Garcia Morros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blue Dolar in the 37th minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franky Dhondts short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Bernardo Raggio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Belgrano de Pibasog defense, Franky Dhondt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Raggio. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Raggio should have stopped the shot. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blue Dolar in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Judas Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. When Judas Verón came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Belgrano de Pibasog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Judas Verón couldn't finish the play. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Cardo Ruso Cordobés's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garcia Morros took the corner. Nestor de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Falcioni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belgrano de Pibasog reached it. In the 88th minute, Bennvar Back made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Honorato Jerrold took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Julio Falcioni to make any attempt to save it. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
