Ignacy Zagrobelny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 18 minutes into the game, KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ignacy Zagrobelny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Torres's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 21 minutes, Leonel Torres made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. KS LEW Chorzów's Ignacy Zagrobelny tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júnior Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Xavier came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz. But to his dismay, Hélio Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 30th minute, Marian Beninda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Vitório Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélio Vaz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Ciro Etor got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Hélio Vaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Vitório Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Vaz in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-6 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Beninda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitório Xavier. That made the score 2-8 in the 60 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Marian Beninda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitório Xavier. The goal made the score 2-9. In the 70th minute, Marian Beninda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-10. In the 76th minute, Waldemar Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Vitório Xavier managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 81 minutes, Oscar de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atomy de Rondônia and the KS LEW Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atomy de Rondônia's Oscar de Salles got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute Ciro Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Vitório Xavier managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Atomy de Rondônia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KS LEW Chorzów were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
