With a little luck, Hemse RK's Hannes Hääger got control of the ball when Lino Meira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Luís Capixaba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hannes Hääger came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Luís Capixaba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. The tension between the Paulopolis and the Hemse RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Marcel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Hääger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Rui Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannes Hääger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Lino Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulopolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
