With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Edur in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Azeari saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. After some careless play in the Barrilete Cósmico defense, Jaime Dantae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Azeari. The Barrilete Cósmico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Azeari should have stopped the shot. Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Dantae in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Epifanio Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Haroldo Edur threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barrilete Cósmico's Jonatan Salvatore quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luciano Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Dantae in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Amador Mundo. After 29 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Dantae. In the 32nd minute, Barrilete Cósmico's Epifanio Orkatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 39th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Saul Silbestre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Azeari skillfully saved the ball. Jaime Dantae might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Azeari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Dantae ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute of the match Amador Mundo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Piearres skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Dantae's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Dantae helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Haroldo Edur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Azeari. Barrilete Cósmico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Edur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 57 minutes, Amador Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Mundo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico's Jonatan Cuarto got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's Jaime Dantae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Azeari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luciano Azeari stood somewhat misplaced when Jaime Dantae came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Luciano Azeari made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Haroldo Edur sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berutti FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Silbestre in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Romulo Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Dantae in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Azeari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Epifanio Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Berutti FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
