The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Gonzalo Natal got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Barrilete Cósmico defense, Iker Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Azeari. The Barrilete Cósmico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Azeari should have stopped the shot. Iker Jon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arnaldo Vistruario hit a great ball. If Joel Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luciano Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Estevon in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO booed when Barrilete Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Vistruario hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Luciano Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Jon in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a corner. Barrilete Cósmico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonzalo Natal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Iker Jon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari did a great save. After 33 minutes, Joel Estevon made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Joel Estevon got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Joel Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Azeari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luciano Azeari came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Joel Estevon. But to his dismay, Joel Estevon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luciano Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Jon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Joel Estevon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Azeari made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Iker Jon sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Joel Estevon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Iker Jon got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Epifanio Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Norberto Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Natalio Iratzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Iker Jon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Azeari. Barrilete Cósmico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Jon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 78th minute, Natalio Iratzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Azeari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 82 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Luciano Azeari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Iratzeder. 84 minutes into the game, Natalio Iratzeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luciano Azeari. Natalio Iratzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
