In the 3rd minute Ovidio Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Argoitz Marichalar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Lorenz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Liebana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Umea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matheu City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MILLONARIOS FC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Ambrosio Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argoitz Marichalar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ambrosio Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matheu City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Quiñones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Jax to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matheu City FC! Tiburcio Joey's late challenge caught a MILLONARIOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Joey helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Amadeo Santisso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Lorenz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Montel Turienzo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Liebana in the 43rd minute of play. When Ambrosio Umea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Ambrosio Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argoitz Marichalar in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Argoitz Marichalar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on MILLONARIOS FC's corner Xoan Giraldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aureliano Lorenz quite easily take care of the ball. Xandro Alaejos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MILLONARIOS FC! Rafael Mascarañas's late challenge caught a Matheu City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Mascarañas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Rafael Mascarañas got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Eloy Tano came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Matheu City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Tano couldn't finish the play. MILLONARIOS FC's Argoitz Marichalar got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Galdamiz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Venancio Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Marichalar in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Amadeo Santisso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Mascarañas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. MILLONARIOS FC's Ovidio Liebana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Matheu City FC. MILLONARIOS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
