The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Barrilete Cósmico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ:s goal. Barrilete Cósmico:s Venancio Bitxintxo showed great skill when he stopped Hermengildo Dalmai:s penalty. Eleuterio Lamberto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Bitxintxo. Venancio Bitxintxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Dalmai in the 27th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Venancio Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Hermengildo Dalmai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venancio Bitxintxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Venancio Bitxintxo was a little too slow when Hermengildo Dalmai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. Adan Txeru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venancio Bitxintxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Dalmai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Bitxintxo. Barrilete Cósmico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Dalmai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Orkatz to make the kick off. Carolo Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Esteve Arias made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Bitxintxo. Barrilete Cósmico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Venancio Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Lamberto in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Hermengildo Dalmai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Venancio Bitxintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Dalmai went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Dalmai in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Bitxintxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Berbiz in the 75th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Venancio Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Bitxintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Hermengildo Dalmai sped through Barrilete Cósmico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venancio Bitxintxo. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico's Romulo Rubio got a free kick in the 90th minute. Hermengildo Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
