Anselmo Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Epifanio Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matheu City FC! In the 16th minute, Mateo Isauro made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Lorenz. Matheu City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anselmo Asur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aureliano Lorenz made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Gartxot during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matheu City FC's Benito Gartxot got a free kick in the 21st minute. Barrilete Cósmico's Mateo Isauro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aureliano Lorenz but with some difficulty. 24 minutes into the game, Patricio Naldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matheu City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico the free kick. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when Matheu City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 25th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Epifanio Orkatz made the kick off in the second half. Matheu City FC's Eloy Tano got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Asur in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 56th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Asur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Umea to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Orkatz succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Matheu City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ambrosio Umea fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matheu City FC's protests and gave Ambrosio Umea a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Victoriano Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Jakes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Orkatz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Lorenz. Aureliano Lorenz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Barrilete Cósmico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matheu City FC for a fine match.
