After 9 minutes, German Teofilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivermania FC and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, German Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Rivermania FC defense, Haroldo Edur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Sengrat. The Rivermania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Sengrat should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Hartz to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Cosme Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berutti FC and the Rivermania FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Egoitz. 26 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's German Teofilio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Dantae in the 28th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Arturo Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Aquiles Naelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivermania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Rivermania FC booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Eli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Berutti FC's Serafin James got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rivermania FC's German Teofilio got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin James in the 51st minute of play. Jaime Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Haroldo Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Saul Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Berutti FC booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A wasted opportunity for Berutti FC. 94 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Edur came free, but Arturo Sengrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rivermania FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
