The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Felix Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sentimiento Auriazul's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Felix Johans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franklin Bittencourt. Felix Johans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 22 minutes, Felix Johans made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vasco FC's Franklin Bittencourt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Bob Hinkler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bob Hinkler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Luisito Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sentimiento Auriazul's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Behe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franklin Bittencourt was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Bob Hinkler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bob Hinkler really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Felix Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sentimiento Auriazul's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Fidanza couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Bob Hinkler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 87th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Johans in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Bittencourt saved Vasco FC from getting behind.
