Isidro Maidana came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santiago Cañizares could save by the left post. Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Hinkler in the 13th minute of play. Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Johans in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Johans came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Fracasados got a freekick which was hit by Javier Beti. The supporters of Sentimiento Auriazul booed when Fracasados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Johans in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mai Yao Yao saved Fracasados from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Felix Johans put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mai Yao Yao. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Tab in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Felix Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mai Yao Yao. Fracasados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 41st minute Felix Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Yao Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mai Yao Yao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theagenis Papageorgiou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santiago Cañizares firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half Sentimiento Auriazul were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Johans to strike the kick off in the second half. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Fracasados booed when Sentimiento Auriazul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Hinkler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felix Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mai Yao Yao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Johans in the 80th minute. Javier Beti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Cañizares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Mai Yao Yao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Johans's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Bob Hinkler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mai Yao Yao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mai Yao Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Johans in the 87th minute of the match. Felix Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mai Yao Yao having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Felix Johans lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Mai Yao Yao. Felix Johans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Mai Yao Yao when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
