In the 12th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Inautzi in the 15th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind CeciForEver's goalkeeper Fermin Basajaun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CeciForEver's Fermin Basajaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save CeciForEver from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when CeciForEver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Lordi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fermin Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. If Pastor Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CeciForEver fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when CeciForEver's Omar Jakue looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gerardo Lordi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Basajaun came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Lordi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Fermin Basajaun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 42nd minute. Joaquin Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Loco during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fermin Basajaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Icardi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Mauro Icardi scored 4-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Basajaun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
