Emil Chwalkiewicz's late challenge caught a El Renacer del Quijano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Chwalkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 14th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Laurentzi in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Chwalkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Ubarna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow got control of the ball when Paolo Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Teobaldo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Artaldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teobaldo Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the El Renacer del Quijano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Ubarna couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Ubarna in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Marcos Berdoi hit a great ball. Maximo Distiratsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Renacer del Quijano FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
