In the 16th minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Gerardo Lordi took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Lordi. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Erroman. Pankracy Glogowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eduardo De Francesco.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo De Francesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eduardo De Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Şevket Çağa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pontus Nordström made a huge save. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Mohammadi in the 91st minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santa Margarita had won after a very even match.
