Made in Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ...Pingue S.C.... the free kick. When Santio Gavilanes fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ...Pingue S.C....'s protests and gave Santio Gavilanes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Made in Paraguay booed when ...Pingue S.C.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santio Gavilanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estevam Gavilanes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Leopoldo Luque sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moreta Bernia was the one to do the kick off. Roque Santa Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincente Monzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moreta Bernia in the 57th minute. Made in Paraguay's Vincente Monzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Made in Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Luque scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estevam Gavilanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ...Pingue S.C....'s Paolo Alemparte was substituted for Estebano Gavilanes. ...Pingue S.C.... made a substitution. Xabat Guera replaced Esteban Gavilanes. Vincente Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Sayas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 80th minute, Roque Santa Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estevam Gavilanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 87th minute, Moreta Bernia made a precise shot to the right of Vincente Monzon. Made in Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind ...Pingue S.C....'s goalkeeper Estevam Gavilanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 minutes ...Pingue S.C....'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robertinho Lewandowski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Robertinho Lewandowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Estevam Gavilanes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 94th minute Sendoa Najera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevam Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreta Bernia in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
