After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Terry Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milferio's supporters rose to their feet, but Terry Jamieson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branislav Velchevski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes of play, Milferio's Terry Jamieson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branislav Velchevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoldo Cordero's late challenge caught a Milferio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jamieson in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terry Jamieson was slow to take the kick. During this time Milferio's players had a chance to rest. In the 35th minute Arnaldo Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Elpidio Francis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Terry Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Milferio's Celso Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Milferio from getting a goal against them.
