The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Gutxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Bieito hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ochoa in the 11th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Albino Gutxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ascacibar-Pérez's zone, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Gutxi came out of the goal and Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kepa Arrizabalaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Rashford in the 16th minute. Marcus Rashford's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kepa Arrizabalaga firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 22nd minute of the match Ascacibar-Pérez got a corner. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rigoberto Hermon ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came free, but Albino Gutxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Gutxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ochoa in the 26th minute of play. Albino Gutxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ke Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iratze in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Rauno Rank got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Tiadoro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Ascacibar-Pérez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka were winning 0-2.

Octavio Chale hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ascacibar-Pérez's Apolo Gabirel got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Ascacibar-Pérez's Albino Gutxi got control of the ball when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Wilfredo Bieito quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Apolo Gabirel, made in the 61st minute of the game. Marcus Rashford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Arrizabalaga having to interfere. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka made a substitution. Leon Trotskiy replaced Iker Eneko. Luis Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Aaron Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Jokin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Gutxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rashford came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Albino Gutxi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. After 89 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. A collision led to Ascacibar-Pérez getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Apolo Gabirel hit a great ball. Ascacibar-Pérez's Albino Gutxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ascacibar-Pérez from getting a goal against them. The Ascacibar-Pérez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
