When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hasan Vezir sped through Independente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nestor Quintal. Ali Atıf Aktan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Trancoso in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute Hasan Vezir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saip Lütfi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 17 minutes, Hasan Vezir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SARI ZEYBEK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Vezir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Independente FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SARI ZEYBEK:s goal. In the 23rd minute SARI ZEYBEK were awarded a corner. Fevzi Oyal went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Inácio das Neves hit a great ball. Nestor Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Vezir, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ali Atıf Aktan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Nezihi during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes SARI ZEYBEK got a freekick which was hit by Délio Nezihi. 33 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos de Azevedo came free, but Ali Atıf Aktan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Independente FC booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saip Lütfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carlos de Azevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 44th playminute.

Hasan Vezir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Ali Atıf Aktan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Trancoso in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Benedito Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Fevzi Oyal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes, Independente FC's Romeu Guerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Atıf Aktan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independente FC reached it. Nestor Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fevzi Oyal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Özgür Egesel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SARI ZEYBEK's Hasan Vezir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Quintal. That made the score 2-4 after 84 minutes of play. Nestor Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fevzi Oyal in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes SARI ZEYBEK got a freekick which was hit by Saip Lütfi. SARI ZEYBEK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
