Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Milian to make the kick off. Aquiles Oihenarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gil dos Santos scored 6-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Oihenarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
