The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nestor Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Gozdowski went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paulo José Veiga got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zé Carlos de Azevedo. In the 17th minute of the match, Jacek Wolczewski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Quintal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 17 played minutes FC Wypyszek got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Bazan. Roland Lisewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zé Carlos de Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Lisewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Carlos de Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Wypyszek's Florian Cwynar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Quintal. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, FC Wypyszek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Bazan to maneuver through the defense. Roland Lisewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Independente FC's Nestor Quintal got control of the ball when Jacek Wolczewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Nilmar Rosa got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Florian Cwynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Wolczewski in the 55th minute of play. Nestor Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florian Cwynar went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Florian Cwynar's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Cwynar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Independente FC booed when FC Wypyszek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Cwynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Marcel Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Roland Lisewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Wypyszek's Aureliusz Mojsiewicz was substituted for Franciszek Moizuk. FC Wypyszek's Roland Lisewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Wypyszek from getting a goal against them. FC Wypyszek's Bernard Wawro got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Lisewski. That made the score 3-2 after 78 minutes of play. Roland Lisewski was a little too slow when Zé Carlos de Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 3-3. Florian Cwynar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Independente FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Wypyszek had won, even though Independente FC had held more of the ball.
