Oliver Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Klimkiewicz having to interfere. John Böcklund charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Böcklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the match, Kõpu Dynamo's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Gilbert Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Kõpu Dynamo's goalkeeper Gilbert Klimkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Simeone. A collision led to Kõpu Dynamo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mati Elujõe hit a great ball. The supporters of Kõpu Dynamo booed when Boca Juniors fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Oliver Bierhoff tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilbert Klimkiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boca Juniors fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Bierhoff in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oliver Bierhoff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilbert Klimkiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors fc's Oliver Bierhoff slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilbert Klimkiewicz. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Robert Haupt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ryszard Kaczanek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kõpu Dynamo. When Bronislav Vrba fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors fc's protests and gave Bronislav Vrba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Boca Juniors fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bronislav Vrba to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Haupt came free, but Ryszard Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Kaczanek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Haupt went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors fc's Anier Eutor got a free kick in the 46th minute.
In the 52nd minute of the match Kõpu Dynamo got a corner. Boca Juniors fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mati Elujõe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kõpu Dynamo's Mati Elujõe to fire away a dangerous shot which Ryszard Kaczanek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Kõpu Dynamo's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Gilbert Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kõpu Dynamo's Robert Haupt got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Flores in the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek got control of the ball when Robert Haupt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors fc from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Haupt. The throw-in from John Böcklund in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kõpu Dynamo's Madis Heinola. After 74 played minutes Kõpu Dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Margus Jaanovits. Gilbert Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Simeone in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Robert Haupt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kõpu Dynamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Haupt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Kaczanek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giovanni Simeone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tomas Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gilbert Klimkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors fc's Albano Flores got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Kõpu Dynamo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kõpu Dynamo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
