Champions Iasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Márk Kovács scored to the left of an out of position Ovidiu Bojin, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin got control of the ball when Márk Kovács tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Stefan Pieters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márk Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ovidiu Bojin made a huge save. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Toader Apăvăloaie hit a great ball. Champions Iasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Márk Kovács scored to the left of an out of position Ovidiu Bojin, making the score, 2-0. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Apăvăloaie in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Buculeasa. Ovidiu Bojin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Marques in the 33rd minute. Ovidiu Bojin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márk Kovács went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Waldemar Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Templars FC's Márk Kovács made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Bojin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 53rd minute Champions Iasi were awarded a corner. Toader Apăvăloaie went to the cornerflag to take it. Champions Iasi's Toader Apăvăloaie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but André Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Templars FC's Márk Kovács nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidiu Bojin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Márk Kovács took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Márk Kovács kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Bojin. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Bojin should have stopped the shot. Templars FC's Ziya Onur Muzaffer was substituted for Joaquin Phoenix. Ovidiu Bojin came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut. But to his dismay, Jonathan Sammut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Sammut came free, but Ovidiu Bojin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vlad Dobrotă hit a great ball. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Jonathan Sammut notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Templars FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
