Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitor Senqui started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Senqui came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká MacAlister to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Michel Neuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Viso. 13 minutes into the match, Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos. U21 Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 16th minute of play forced U21 Ecuador's goalkeeper Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco Viso got free with Michel Neuer in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Halland in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ferreira came free, but Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Franco Viso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michel Neuer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Sopena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Fabian Sopena hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villafuerte Aramoyana couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Dan Dal Bello took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos to make any attempt to save it. After 82 minutes U21 Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bebeto Branco who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bebeto Branco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Dal Bello to maneuver through the defense. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Balaunde came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Messias in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, U21 Brazil's Kaká MacAlister got a free kick in the 96th minute. The U21 Brazil supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Brazil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
