The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Tetes Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Abeita to maneuver through the defense. David Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Gomez went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 10 minutes, Ciro Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tetes Titans and the CD SHETTANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Tetes Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gomez in the 11th minute of the match. David Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keilor Volio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. David Cucao was a little too slow when Miguel Gomez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 27 played minutes Tetes Titans got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Orland. A collision led to Tetes Titans getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ciro Salvatore hit a great ball. Miguel Gomez in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Cucao, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Cucao was a little too slow when Abel Alpizar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. David Cucao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Alpizar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Eguen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tetes Titans's Lisandro Orland got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keilor Volio in the 57th minute of play forced Tetes Titans's goalkeeper David Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD SHETTANI's Alonzo Chavarria was substituted for Miguel Gomez. In the 60th minute of the match CD SHETTANI got a corner. Tetes Titans's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Centeno ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 61 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Alan Mejias. In the 70th minute Bernie Sanabria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernie Sanabria took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Cucao. David Cucao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Baldomero Bidari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernie Sanabria struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. David Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD SHETTANI. David Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Chavarria in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Chavarria in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Alonzo Chavarria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Cucao. Tetes Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Chavarria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The CD SHETTANI fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when CD SHETTANI's Alonzo Chavarria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Alonzo Chavarria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Cucao was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 89 minutes, Alonzo Chavarria made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tetes Titans's David Cucao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
