Natxo Cacheres made a great header on A.D. Alcorcón's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nereo Acosta was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D. Alcorcón's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nereo Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugur Chiriac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. Mugur Chiriac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Maurino Serena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Quijana. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Glogowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
