In the 10th match minute, Bagarmossen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Godholm to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Tor Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Botinho FC from getting a goal against them. Dorival Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Nickerson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Thomás Nickerson sped through Botinho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hílton Magalhães. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Westerberg came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Bagarmossen got a corner. Botinho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fritz Elg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Bagarmossen's Elazaro Lazaeta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Börje Westerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hílton Magalhães had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Börje Westerberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thomás Nickerson sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Landin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dorival Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Börje Westerberg succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Westerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
