The supporters of Botinho FC booed when Arquímedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Nabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Vinhas in the 10th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Librado came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes Botinho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boleslaw Jestrimski who took care of the corner kick. Iker Venerando in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iker Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Botinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Iker Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arquímedes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Venerando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Librado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Magalhães having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Librado in the 24th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arquímedes's Domingo Librado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hílton Magalhães. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. With a little luck, Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães got control of the ball when Iker Venerando tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Nilson Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Ferraz in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Librado came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Venerando in the 44th minute of the match. When Enrico Petrini fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arquímedes's protests and gave Enrico Petrini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Botinho FC booed when Arquímedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Petrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Librado in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Abila in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Venerando in the 57th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Domingo Librado came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Arquímedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Librado couldn't finish the play. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Librado in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Domingo Librado sped through Botinho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hílton Magalhães. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Venerando in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Librado came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Domingo Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Hílton Magalhães came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Arquímedes's Domingo Librado. But to his dismay, Domingo Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Domingo Librado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Jeremias Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Venerando in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. Arquímedes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Botinho FC for a fine match.
