Oswaldo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaetan Huijbreghts having to interfere. Robbin Imbrechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Remo de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaetan Huijbreghts having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Matos in the 17th minute of play forced Malempre AFC's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oswaldo Matos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Matos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Charles Oliveira got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 42nd minute, Reinaldo Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Gaetan Huijbreghts. Malempre AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Régis Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Guimarães couldn't finish the play. After the first half TRAKINAS FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oswaldo Matos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Malempre AFC booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão Lucas lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Luizão Lucas got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph De Vreese in the 56th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts got control of the ball when Oswaldo Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. TRAKINAS FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Malempre AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Régis Guimarães took the corner. Régis Guimarães made a great header on TRAKINAS FC's corner, it was just that Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Malempre AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Angelo Depelsmaker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Alagoano in the 71st minute of play forced Malempre AFC's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaetan Huijbreghts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Matos in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaetan Huijbreghts saved Malempre AFC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Oswaldo Matos took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gaetan Huijbreghts to make any attempt to save it. Malempre AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Oswaldo Matos 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaetan Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Matos in the 95th minute of the match. Anton Elens kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. TRAKINAS FC played a much better game than Malempre AFC and deserved their victory. The Malempre AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
