Ildefonso Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mario Wegmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lingenfelder came free, but Humberto Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Soter hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Marcel Moschel's late challenge caught a Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Moschel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ateneo Parroquial F.C. booed when SV Gerasdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Moschel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Madaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Wegmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of SV Gerasdorf:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ateneo Parroquial F.C.:s goal. Mario Wegmann came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s Arnaldo Gutxi. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Gutxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Weber 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Stefan Weber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robustiano Madaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Madaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When SV Gerasdorf's Stefan Weber in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Dirk Lenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Ateneo Parroquial F.C. a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ulises Endura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SV Gerasdorf's Mario Wegmann. 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Weber was the one to do the kick off. If Arnaldo Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Ivanschitz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. SV Gerasdorf's Stefan Weber got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s Cayetano Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SV Gerasdorf getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcus Lingenfelder hit a great ball. Ateneo Parroquial F.C.'s Arnaldo Gutxi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Lenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, SV Gerasdorf's Marcus Lingenfelder got a free kick in the 70th minute. Flavio Gimenez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Robustiano Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SV Gerasdorf's Mario Wegmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save SV Gerasdorf from getting a goal against them. Dirk Lenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Havier having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ateneo Parroquial F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
