In the 9th minute Romulo Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Viñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IM James Liquin HC's Isaac Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, IM James Liquin HC's Romulo Fraco got a free kick in the 14th minute. Severino Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Porres in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Pinto Cajigal managed to get in a good position for a shot. dudley city's supporters rose to their feet, but Pinto Cajigal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Atauri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Ado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Viñas. dudley city's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Primitivo Porres came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the dudley city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Porres couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes of play, IM James Liquin HC's Julio Garin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Viñas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, IM James Liquin HC's goal looked a bit too open when Koldo Cienfuegos came free, but Severino Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IM James Liquin HC's Isaac Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Koldo Cienfuegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IM James Liquin HC's Isaac Ursino managed to work through dudley city's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Isaac Ursino dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 41 minutes into the game, Isaac Ursino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Angelo Viñas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Porres's late challenge caught a IM James Liquin HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Porres helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, dudley city's Primitivo Porres got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Ursino to make the kick off. When Isaac Ursino fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IM James Liquin HC's protests and gave Isaac Ursino a yellow card for diving instead. 52 minutes into the match, IM James Liquin HC's goal looked a bit too open when Pinto Cajigal came free, but Severino Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Viñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ursino in the 54th minute of play. Eusebio Begal hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Primitivo Porres took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Atauri. Severino Atauri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Julio Garin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the IM James Liquin HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Garin couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Isaac Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Isaac Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the IM James Liquin HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Ursino couldn't finish the play. Angelo Viñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ursino in the 95th minute of play. IM James Liquin HC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
