The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Magadan got free with Nicolas Trigo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Yves Joanes with Xacintu Magadan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tribos's Christopher Sjögren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yves Joanes in the 19 minute of the game. Mané Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcello Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Bruno Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Yves Joanes in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tribos's Marcel Urbano. Nicolas Trigo was a little too slow when Xacintu Magadan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Tribos's Xande Cabezudo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 57 minutes Tribos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Lind who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Maraponga FAC's Jimmy Lind to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Xacintu Magadan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraponga FAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xacintu Magadan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xande Cabezudo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tribos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Xande Cabezudo hit a great ball.
