Diguinho Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jeremias Maia came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the C o n f i a n ç a - SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Maia couldn't finish the play. With his leg Frederico Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Jeremias Maia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
