Songur Ersalmış hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Jeremias Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Capixaba hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Wanderson Porto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diguinho Carioca. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremias Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Clayton Pedron came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the C o n f i a n ç a - SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clayton Pedron couldn't finish the play. Aníbal Arósio's late challenge caught a C o n f i a n ç a - SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Jeremias Maia made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Maciel. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cacá Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Pedron in the 33rd minute of the match. Jeremias Maia took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cacá Maciel. Cacá Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 39 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Capixaba came free, but Cacá Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sipo EC's Cacá Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the C o n f i a n ç a - SE defense, Décio Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Carioca. The C o n f i a n ç a - SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho Carioca should have stopped the shot. After 56 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Arósio. Sipo EC's Cacá Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Oscar Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Carioca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Décio Messias's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Messias in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Prata in the 63rd minute of play forced C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rodolfo Porto hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Charles Capixaba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 68 played minutes Jeremias Maia rounded Sipo EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. A hard shot 73 in the game by Jeremias Maia from a close distance when the talented Cacá Maciel managed to make a qualified save. Sipo EC's players were relieved. Yan Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cacá Maciel made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jeremias Maia sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Jeremias Maia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cacá Maciel. Cacá Maciel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. When José Paulo Prata came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sipo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Prata couldn't finish the play. If Jeremias Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cacá Maciel made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jeremias Maia sent off a good shot on target. Clayton Pedron hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sipo EC's Cacá Maciel got control of the ball when Jeremias Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match C o n f i a n ç a - SE got a corner. Sipo EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charles Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Sipo EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C o n f i a n ç a - SE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
