Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agostinho Carneiro started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Eriberto Bakar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 20 de Março FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAS the free kick. Eriberto Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agostinho Carneiro sped through 20 de Março FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão de Moraes. In the 11th minute, Mazinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Hélder Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Eriberto Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão de Moraes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SAS's Agostinho Carneiro. But to his dismay, Agostinho Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Fernando Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Hélder Nóbrega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. SAS's Agostinho Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Agostinho Carneiro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão de Moraes. Betão de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Carneiro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betão de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 20 de Março FC's Eriberto Bakar got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in 20 de Março FC's zone, Durval Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Moraes came out of the goal and Durval Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danial Benson made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's Danial Benson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willian Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute Hélder Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes got control of the ball when Agnaldo Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Durval Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Durval Simões put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Betão de Moraes. In the 87th minute, Durval Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hélder Trancoso hit a great ball. Durval Simões's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Betão de Moraes firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 94 minutes, Agnaldo Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Agnaldo Araújo hit a great ball. If Danial Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
