An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Verlet in the 4th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute Darren Verlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Verlet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Sílvio Laureano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mané Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederico Madureira was a little too slow when Xacintu Magadan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frederico Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Verlet in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira got control of the ball when Xacintu Magadan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darren Verlet in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Madureira saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Frederico Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Verlet in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Cristiano Osmundsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira got control of the ball when Xacintu Magadan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mané Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Genovese, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mochila FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Maraponga FAC booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Darren Verlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 54 minutes of play, Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Maraponga FAC's Xacintu Magadan in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mochila FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anfilogino Genovese's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Xacintu Magadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Madureira having to interfere. In the 66th minute Maraponga FAC were awarded a corner. Jimmy Lind went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xacintu Magadan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70thth minute of the game Darren Verlet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, one of Mochila FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Mochila FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Mochila FC's Bart Claveau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xacintu Magadan's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Verlet in the 95th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Maraponga FAC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
