After 3 played minutes Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a freekick which was hit by Léo Porto. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tribos's attentive Pedrinho Figueiredo managed to snatch the ball when Léo Porto made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Elazar in the 14th minute of play. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Tribos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Roussel took the corner. Fred Zonta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 20 played minutes Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a freekick which was hit by Bert Shamp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Faria in the 21st minute of play forced Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Fábio Chițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Cristiano Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gustavo Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Fábio Chițan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tribos getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Adélio Pinhal hit a great ball. Edvin van der Saar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jim Roussel. 42 minutes in the game Jim Roussel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raul Elazar. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos's zone, Pablo Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and Pablo Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Elazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Augusto Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Fábio Chițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Gustavo Gol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Gombal in the 63rd minute of play forced Tribos's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Fábio Chițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 65th minute of play. Gustavo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Chițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Faria in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Evandro Martins threw the ball into play from the sideline. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Bert Shamp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 74th minute Pablo Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the game Evandro Martins made a throw-in which Cristiano Faria played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Fábio Chițan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 87 minutes into the match, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Fábio Chițan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Gol. In the 88th minute, one of Tribos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tribos. A collision led to Tribos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pedrinho Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Michel Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvin van der Saar skillfully saved the ball.
