Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Sílvio Laureano fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mochila FC's protests and gave Sílvio Laureano a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Oséias Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Madureira was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Américo Marinho got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's Oséias Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Américo Marinho made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Albert Hidegkúti immediately put the ball in play. If Noel Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Hidegkúti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Madureira having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sílvio Laureano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carroll Hathaway to make any attempt to save it. When Oséias Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sipo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Gerber couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Gerber in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Madureira saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Oséias Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Hidegkúti in the 29th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Oséias Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Sipo EC got a corner. Mochila FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noel Velloso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Noel Velloso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico Madureira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséias Gerber's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Frederico Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Gerber in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Elói Ferreira hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Elói Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Oséias Gerber in the 50thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frederico Madureira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute Bart Claveau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carroll Hathaway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sipo EC's Frederico Madureira threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elói Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ferhan Yörük had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carroll Hathaway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Genovese, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Claveau in the 80th minute of play. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Laureano in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Sipo EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sydney Terra who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mochila FC's Sydney Terra to fire away a dangerous shot which Carroll Hathaway despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Oséias Gerber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederico Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oséias Gerbers short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Frederico Madureira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
