The corner was taken by Cenap İğdemir in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cenap İğdemir in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renan Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenap İğdemir's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute JFSP were awarded a corner. Cenap İğdemir went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Horácio Souto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 20 de Março FC's Constantin Pãduret was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moisés Novaes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ioseba Gonzalvez managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 de Março FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioseba Gonzalvez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ioseba Gonzalvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Cenap İğdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cenap İğdemir to strike the kick off in the second half. Renan Schmidt came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Rubinho Zanette. But to his dismay, Rubinho Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Moisés Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Frænkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioseba Gonzalvez couldn't finish the play. Waldemar Frænkel's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Frænkel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of JFSP booed when 20 de Março FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JFSP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
