Wilton Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 22nd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Talló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bene Animatus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 45 minutes of play, Bene Animatus's Jardel Velloso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomás Toscano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner led to Capibaribe Stars's Daşdämir Albändiyev getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Nike 武磊 put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Talló. Juvenal Talló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nike 武磊, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Jardel Velloso made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Toscano. Capibaribe Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
