The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jimmy Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Skull Sport F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If João Augusto Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniël De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Cui Xiang Zhen sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Levandowsky came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Gino do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jimmy Lundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Richard Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Raimundo da Silveira in the 38th minute of play was well struck, but Daniël De Goeij made a really good save at the right post. In the 39th minute, Gino do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Lundin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Skull Sport F.C booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lozovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's 庄翀竞 got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij got control of the ball when Raimundo da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino do Valle in the 45th minute of the match. Daniël De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cui Xiang Zhen sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino do Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. Raimundo da Silveira made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valério Pires. Jimmy Lundin was a little too slow when Gino do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-4. 57 minutes into the game, Raphael Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skull Sport F.C the free kick. After 57 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Macedo. In the 59th match minute, Skull Sport F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cui Xiang Zhen to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Gino do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Barral in the 71st minute of play. Gino do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, 庄翀竞 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Skull Sport F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card.
