PIAUÍ FC's Iurie Chiriacescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Martins in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ferreira Lopes MZC's Herald Depauw was substituted for Luka Beaugendre. The wind increased when Dário Martins made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
