Raphael Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute Richard Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lozovan in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mădălin Lunca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lozovan in the 34th minute of play. Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 39th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Neto in the 43rd minute of play. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neto in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. After taking down the ball on Limoeiro-PE FC's corner Doni Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mădălin Lunca quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Benjamin da Fonseca sped through Limoeiro-PE FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniël De Goeij. After 62 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Macedo. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Tiago Gabriel Cavalcante replaced Raphael Macedo. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Raphael Macedo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pesqueira City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Iniesta in the 65th minute. The corner led Pesqueira City's Fabian Hansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniël De Goeij despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Doriva Zanette replaced Ignat Nozharov. Tiago Gabriel Cavalcante made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Richard Neto however managed to control. Cui Ling Jing's late challenge caught a Limoeiro-PE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cui Ling Jing helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cui Ling Jing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino do Valle got free with Mădălin Lunca in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Neto had several of the Pesqueira City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Mădălin Lunca as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 85thth minute of the game Sebastião Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniël De Goeij came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Sebastião Quintal. But to his dismay, Sebastião Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 95 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Quintal came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pesqueira City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
